Buckle up and sit back and enjoy the ride as your plane takes to the air over some of New Zealand's most scenic landscapes. You and your family will be able to see things that you would otherwise miss and this form of sightseeing takes you to another level - upwards into the sky.

That's why scenic flights are an awesome way to see New Zealand beacuse they allow your family to soar above the ground and cover large distances and capture images that can only be seen from hundreds of feet up in the air.

Here are a few pointers for those flying in smaller planes. Children can sometimes work themselves into a bit of a state if they are unfamiliar with flying. So make sure that your children are well settled; sometimes taking their favourite cuddly will help if your child is on the nervous side. It is also well worth mentioning that if you are travelling with another group please be as considerate of their needs as you are of your own. By their very nature small planes are just that - small  - and a crying child makes it unpleasant for all parties.
