Tour operators know their regions extremely well and there is no better way for your family to discover a place than by taking a guided tour. Tours aren't restricted to walking tours these days and families can enjoy canoeing, bicycling and even flying through woodlands via a flying fox. So discover the world of guided tours, you might find something that you've always wanted to try and what better way to do this than to share it with your family.

We specialise in hospitality on the Whanganui River.  If you would like to see spectacular natural scenery, enjoy great food, organic coffee, and fun company, come with us. We also make sure our refreshments suit our group - tea and coffee for adults, and hot chocolate for children, and the morning tea includes homebaked biscuits (yo-yos are a big hit) or something such as brownie slice - which my own five children give the thumbs up!

We can take you to The Bridge to Nowhere or The Flying Fox, or on a jet boat tour with canoe option, either in 2 person canoes, or in a 20 person waka, a great cultural experience. Many little ones make the journey with their family to places like The Bridge to Nowhere, they just usually finish on an adults shoulders.
