Visitors enjoy unparalleled views along the beach and over the Tasman Sea, and inland as far as Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain. Sitting on the doorstep of Paparoa National Park, the Hotel has been carefully designed to blend in to its natural setting and capture the essence of its beauty.

Punakaiki Resort offers two styles of accommodation; Standard Resort Rooms / Suites and Eco-Suites. The rooms are designed in harmony with the local environment and have either ocean or rainforest views. All rooms are positioned to maintain a sense of privacy and seclusion.

Your hosts, Sharon and Michael Pugh, were born and bred on the West Coast and extend to you a very warm welcome and enjoyable stay. Our log and stone family homestead is situated on a sheep and cattle farmlet. Accommodation facilities within the homestead include one king bedroom own ensuite bathroom . An alternative option is two luxury, well-appointed and private self-contained log cottages. Our convenient, central West Coast location is handy to Greymouth and Attractions such as Shantytown, Punakaiki pancake rocks and blowholes etc.
