Conveniently located on State Highway one 25-30 minutes drive south of Taupo, Tony's Lodge is right in the middle of all the great things to do. We are also the perfect halfway stop, between Auckland and Wellington. You will have about a 45 minute drive to Whakapapa Ski field. The Tauranga-Taupo River is within walking distance, the Tongariro River is a 10 minute drive.

We have 4 lovely rooms to choose from: a queen-size bed in one, a double bed and single bed in the next, twin king-single beds in the next and three king singles in the last. All our rooms have hand basins, wardrobes, heaters, electric blankets, radio alarm clocks and luggage racks. You have the choice of a cot(crib) or rocking cradle for babies and a fold-out bed for older children should you want them to share your room. We have fish cleaning and ski gear drying facilities available on request as well.

The guest lounge has a wide selection of books and magazines with satellite tv. We also have an outside deck area with a BBQ for you to grill your dinner and have a few drinks. Babysitting can be arranged if parents want some time alone together. We like to make sure everyone who stays feels welcomed and comfortable. We are happy to cater to your special requirements if we are able; just let us know in advance. Tony's Lodge is a 4 Star Qualmark.
