Lovely tidy 3 bedroom cottage 2 minutes' walk from Twizel shops and restaurants/ cafes.  Fenced on three sides in quiet cul-de-sac. Close to swimming pool, golf course, skateboard ramp, roller skating, tennis courts, basketball court. Five minutes' drive to Lake Ruataniwhau. Handy to Mt Cook for tramping etc.
 
Affordable accommodation suitable for families, king bed, queen bed, twin single room plus 2 divans in lounge. This is an unserviced cottage so bring your own linen and leave the cottage clean please. Mountain Chalets is situated in Twizel, 40 minutes' drive from Mount Cook, on State Highway 8 between Christchurch and Queenstown. This picturesque site is on the doorstep to some of New Zealand's finest scenery, located in the Mackenzie Country.

Twizel is a good base for exploring the area and is the nearest township to Mt Cook. The nearby lakes and rivers are ideal venues for watersports such as canoeing, windsurfing, fishing, swimming and waterskiing.
